How soon can you start?
Upon contacting Yellow Pear Cuisine we can schedule a convenient initial consultation. This assessment will take place in your home and will be an opportunity to discuss likes, dislikes, food allergies, service frequency and menu selections and for us to schedule a cook date.

Do you cook in my kitchen?
Yes. Because of Health Department regulations, we must prepare food in your home. We cannot make food and then deliver it to you. Only food prepared in a specially equipped and inspected kitchen can be pre-made and delivered to your home.

What if my kitchen is small and not well equipped?
Have you seen a Parisian kitchen? During the initial consultation, we will tour your kitchen and determine how best to work in your space. On the cook date, the chef will arrive at your home with all the culinary equipment necessary. We just need space in your refrigerator to store the meals that are prepared and packaged that day. We will leave your kitchen clean and full of wonderful aromas from the day's cooking.

How often do you come?
Most clients prefer a weekly service. This means Yellow Pear Cuisine schedules with you one cook date a week and prepares all the food that you have ordered. The food is packaged, labeled, and stored in your refrigerator. You reheat and enjoy your food at your leisure. For the continued service, Yellow Pear Cuisine will contact you with the next week's menu choices. You simply choose your menu and the time-saving process is repeated.

How long is the cook date?

Do I have to be home on the cook date?
No, you do not have to be home. Most clients prefer to be at work. We can discuss the best arrangement that is convenient and comfortable for you.

If I am home, is it okay to watch?
Of course, but extended conversations and frequent interruptions may slow down the process of preparation and affect the quality of your food.
